Sheltered housing

Rayne House

Rayne House is part of the Nightingale family located three minutes away from Nightingale. Rayne House offers independent living whilst at the same time offering tenants peace of mind and the security of knowing that there is an on-site resident warden 24 hours a day.

The block is set in a quiet residential suburban setting with its own attractive courtyard garden. It comprises 24 bed sitting rooms each with their own separate kitchenette and bathroom or shower room. Each room is fitted with an emergency call system which is monitored by the resident warden.

Tenants of Rayne House have the unique opportunity of being able to enjoy all of the cultural and social facilities of Nightingale whilst being able to live in their own independent flats. The Home's facilities include:

  • a wonderful arts & craft centre
  • synagogue
  • shop
  • café
  • numerous public rooms
  • medical facilities
  • hairdressing salon

and much, much more.

Additionally, Nightingale offers non-stop activities including a WIZO Group, Friendship Club, concert and theatre outings, exercise classes, Jewish cultural classes, a huge range of other entertainment - both popular and classical, music recitals, tea parties, discussion group and much else besides.

There is also a Day Centre held on site one day a week. Tenants of Rayne House are also welcome, for a nominal cost, to join their friends at Nightingale for meals if they so choose.

Should the day come when Rayne House tenants may require a greater level of care, automatic priority is given through a “fast track” system to become resident at Nightingale.

Located close to the shops and two commons, there is adequate public transport. Both Rayne House and Nightingale are easily reached from Central and North London by Underground.

Please don't take our word for it - come and visit and see Rayne House for yourself!
